With a self-guided visit, you can explore the impressive underground military complex.
You will follow a visitor route through the underground barracks, the museum, the infirmary, and a limited section of the 5-kilometre-long tunnel system on the middle level. You will get a good impression of the effects of a “shaped charge” explosion and can watch an engaging 15-minute film that provides deeper insight into the story of the fort and the attack of May 10, 1940.
Your visit is not limited in time — stay as long as you like. The average visit lasts about 1 hour 30 minutes.
The visitor route is continuously accessible from 10 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.
The last admission is at 2:30 p.m.
No reservation required.
For safety reasons, during an unguided visit, you will not have access to:
- the combat bunkers,
- the gun room of an artillery casemate,
- the command post.
The fort is open from Tuesday to Sunday, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Some Mondays we are also open (please check the opening hours).
Closed on Easter Sunday, December 24, 25, 26 and 31, and January 1 and 2.
Winter closure from the Monday after the Christmas holidays until mid-February.
By visiting the fort, you accept our terms and conditions.
