Important

  • A private visit for a fixed price for your whole group, including a private guide. No other visitors will join your group.
  • You’re free to set or change the number of participants, up to 10 people. No need to inform us in advance.
  • Children under 7 years old do not count toward the total number of participants in your group.
  • Pre-booking is required and reservations can be made up to 5 days before the date of your visit.
  • Cancellations are possible by email only and up to 2 working days before the date of your booking. In case of late cancellation or 'no show' the visit will still be charged.
  • You can pay at the ticket office on the day of your visit, by card or in cash.
  • Please book a group visit if you wish to bring more than 10 people.

This private tour includes:

  • A short film about the history of the fort
  • The barracks and the museum

  • The site of a massive explosion of a hollow charge with its disastrous consequences

This visit is accessible to wheelchair users, though assistance is required. The combat bunkers are not wheelchair accessible. Visitors with heart conditions or limited mobility are advised not to visit the artillery casemate.

What to expect

Discover the interior and exterior of fort on a 3.5h guided tour.

This private tour includes:

  • A short film about the history of the fort
  • The barracks and the museum
  • Part of the tunnel network
  • The command post and a bunker
  • The site of a massive explosion caused by a hollow charge with its disastrous consequences
  • An outdoor walk to the plateau and the site of the gliderborne attack (*),  located 65m above the entrance
  • Detailed information about the casemates, cupolas, and defensive bunkers of the fort
  • An in-depth explanation of the glider landings and the assault on the fort
* For the outdoor visit, please wear appropriate clothing.

This visit is not wheelchair accessible , and not suitable for people with limited mobility or heart problems.

The underground barracks and museum are heated, while the tunnel network maintains a constant temperature of 11°C. We strongly recommend wearing a sweater or jacket, as well as closed-toe shoes.
