  • Pre-booking is required and can be made up to 8 days before the date of the visit.
  • Cancellations can only be made by email and up to 2 business days before your visit date. In case of late cancellation or no-show, the booking will still be charged.
  • You can pay at the ticket office on the day of your visit, by card or in cash.

  • Followed by an outside visit to the cupola and the upper plateau where the attack took place (*)
  • This visit involves small, confined spaces and requires the use of iron ladders.
  • Participants must be in good physical condition.

What to expect

  • A discovery tour for the brave of 3 to 3.5h using torch lights
  • Part of the tour takes you into unlit corridors . A torch light is mandatory and can be purchased at the ticket office
  • This tour requires a long underground walk with many stairs to reach the Albert Canal
  • Visit all three floors of the Canal Nord bunker. On the upper floor, and with some effort, you can sit in the machine gun dome, looking out over the Albert Canal like the soldiers from the garrison in 1940
  • Participants must be in good physical condition and not suffer from claustrophobia

This visit is not possible for people with reduced mobility, people in wheelchairs and people with claustrophobia. It is strongly discouraged for people with heart problems.

What to expect

  • A 3h30 to 4h visit for connoisseurs and technology buffs
  • Visit both retractable cupolas and their associated bunkers
  • In-depth technical briefing of the retractable cupolas and their 75mm guns
  • Short outdoor visit to the Couple Nord bunker
  • To visit both cupolas, two sets of stairs with a  combined height of +/- 25 m will need to be climbed
  • Participants must be in good physical condition

The underground barracks and museum are heated, while the tunnel network maintains a constant temperature of 11°C. We strongly recommend wearing a sweater or jacket, as well as closed-toe shoes.
