The Fort is open every day during the Christmas holidays, including Mondays, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Last admission is at 3:00 PM. We are closed on December 24, 25, 26, and 31, and January 1 and 2, 2026.
Guided tours:
On Saturday and Sunday at 11:15am and 1:45pm, for just €5 extra, you can take part in a 2-hour English-language guided tour of the cannons or a battle bunker.

Ask for your cup at the reception and enjoy a hot chocolate or mulled wine.

Children up to and including 14 years of age have free admission, provided they are accompanied by at least one paying adult at the regular rate.
With a combination ticket purchased by at least one paying person aged 18 or over at the regular rate, children aged 14 and under can enjoy a free, exciting tour of the cannons or a battle bunker.
For young people, there is the quest "Strange Birds over Eben-Emael".
Youngsters aged 10 to 14 can enjoy the playful and exciting quest, 'Strange Birds over Eben-Emael,' based on the comic strip about the attack on the fort.
Afterwards, you'll receive the "Strange Bird" mission certificate, and your parents or grandparents can purchase the comic book at a reduced price. A perfect Christmas gift!
