During this informal information evening, you will get to know our team, our operations, and the rich history of the fort.
You'll discover what it means to take visitors on a journey through time — from strategic fortress to impressive military heritage.
🎓 Training to become a guide at Fort Eben-Emael
After the information evening, our guide training program begins, a captivating combination of theory and practice, followed by an evaluation and an internship period during which you will gradually develop into a guide at Fort Eben-Emael.
🧭 Theoretical part You will gain insight into the history, architecture and military context of Fort Eben-Emael. |
📚 Self-study and learning support Self-study is also expected during the program. You'll receive a comprehensive syllabus and textbooks in your native language, allowing you to process and deepen your knowledge at your own pace. |
🎤 Practical part & evaluation The evaluations, tours and your interventions will take place in your own language. |
