The film “The Story of the Fort” provides a clear overview of the events of 10 May 1940 in just 15 minutes.
After the film, follow the visitor route through the underground barracks, the museum, the infirmary, and a limited section of the 5 km-long network of galleries on the intermediate level. Along the way, you’ll gain a clear understanding of the consequences of a shaped-charge explosion.
The visit concludes with the unique 180° immersive experience “Granit’s Attack at Dawn,” placing you at the heart of the action during the attack on the fort.
The duration of your visit is not limited: you may stay as long as you wish. The average visit lasts 1 hour and 30 minutes.
The visitor route is continuously accessible from 10:00 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Last admission is at 3:00 p.m.
No reservation is required.
During a visit with an audio guide, without the accompaniment of a guide, the following areas are not accessible for safety reasons:
- the combat positions;
- the gun rooms of the artillery casemates and cupolas;
- the command post.
