Take a self-guided tour to discover the undergound barracks and main galleries
Self-guided visit
- Self-guided tours will take you to the museum area, underground barracks and the main galleries connecting the gun emplacements.
- Follow the signed route at your own pace and spend as much time at the fort as you wish.
- Please allow at least 1h30 for your visit.
- Tickets on sale on the day at the reception desk.
The underground barracks and museum area are fully wheelchair accessible.
The part of the underground galleries visited with these tours is possible, but there are slopes, so helper support is required.
Visiting an artillery casemate, a gun turret or the superstructure of the fort is unfortunately not possible for wheelchair users and is not suitable for visitors with limited mobility or suffering from pre-existing heart conditions or recent surgery.
The underground barracks and museum are heated. In the corridor system and bunkers, there is a constant temperature of 11°C. Warm clothing is strongly recommended. We also recommend closed footwear.
What you will see
- the underground barracks, including the engine room, dormitories, showers, infirmary, etc...
