Private tours
- Your group will have its own English-language guide
- We offer a choice of two different itineraries
- Maximum group size of 15 (children aged 7 and below not included)
- Pre-booking is mandatory. Visits can be booked throughout the year, except Mondays and closure days
- Bookings can be made up to 8 days in advance
- The number of groups that can be accommdated each day is limited, so please book well in advance
The underground barracks and museum area are fully wheelchair accessible.
The part of the underground galleries visited with these tours is possible, but there are slopes, so helper support is required.
Visiting an artillery casemate, a gun turret or the superstructure of the fort is unfortunately not possible for wheelchair users and is not suitable for visitors with limited mobility or suffering from pre-existing heart conditions or recent surgery.
The underground barracks and museum are heated. In the corridor system and bunkers, there is a constant temperature of 11°C. Warm clothing is strongly recommended. We also recommend closed footwear.

- This private visit is reserved for small groups. If you are bringing morre than 15 visitors, please book a Group Visit
- Free cancellation up to 2 days beforehand. Late cancellations will still incur the charge for the guide.

- Learn about the air filtration room and visit the command post of the fort
- Climb the more than 100 steps to the gun emplacements of an artillery casemate
- See the damage and havoc caused by the explosion of a hollow charge at the bottom of the Maatsricht 1 artillery casemate
