- Booking is mandatory. Visiting is possible every day, except on Mondays and closing days.
- You can book up to 8 days before date.
- To ensure that each visit runs smoothly, the number of visits per day is limited. So book your visit well in advance.
- Due to the sometimes limited space of the visited areas and for everyone’s comfort, the number of participants is limited to a maximum of 10 persons per guide.
- You decide the number of participants between 1 and max 10 people.
- The guide will wait for you outside, at the entrance of the fort. Late arrival may shorten the visit.
- For smooth running, we ask to be present 15 minutes before departure.
A themed visit is not possible for less mobile people and for people in a wheelchair.

There are 3 different themed visits.
A tailor-made programme, consisting of several themed visits, can be developed. Contact the secretariat for more information.
The underground barracks and museum are heated. In the corridor system and bunkers, there is a constant temperature of 11°C. A pull or jacket is strongly recommended. We also recommend closed shoes.
Visit to the 120mm armored artillery cupola.
The 120 mm cupola is the only of its kind still remaining worldwide.
For connoisseurs: a visit to the largest artillery dome.
The fully restored cupola is a technically high-quality military patrimony.

- Visit to a small museum about the technology of the cupola
- Visit of the bunker below
- With more than 100 steps to the gun room of the 120 mm artillery cupola
- Explanation of the loading system of the two 120 mm FRC guns.
- As an extra, and at your choice, visit of an artillery casemate or a defense bunker
- Subsequently, a visit to the upper plateau of the fort where the attack took place
- The guide will tell you everything about the location of the bunkers and the landing of the gliders
- The total visit time is 4h to 4h30
- Fee: a fixed total price of € 210 for 2 to 10 participants. Expert guide included

Visit of the artillery cupola North and the upper plateau

- Visit of the bunker below
- To the upper plateau through the infantry exit of cupola North
- The cupola lifts out of the bunker below and makes a 360° rotating movement
- Explanation of the attack on the artillery works on the upper plateau and the attack with gliders

With the torch on an underground exploration up to the Albert Canal and a visit to the Canal North bunker

- A long walk through the underground galleries
- Past the command post, the air intakes, and the ‘false entrances’ to the false cupola's
- Via many stairs, we pass an underground inner-defense bunker and descend to the level of the Albert Canal.
- On the way, we stop at a heavy explosion of a hollow charge at the foot of the machine gun bunker Mi-North.
- We visit the Canal bunker North with its 3 floors.
- On the mezzanine floor, a destroyed 60 mm cannon and a mount for a Maxim machine gun.
- On the top floor, with some effort, you can take place in the machine gun bunker and have, like the garrison soldiers in 1940, a view of the Albert Canal.
- Subsequently, a visit to the upper plateau of the fort where the attack took place
- The guide will tell you everything about the location of the bunkers and the landing of the gliders
