Individual visit with audio guide

The audioguide is included in your admission ticket.

As you follow the visitor route, the voices of soldiers from the fort’s garrison take you back to May 1940. They tell you about their life in the fort, their duties and what they experienced during the attack.

In this way, the barracks, the museum, the different rooms and the galleries are given a voice and a story. You explore the fort at your own pace and can take your time to discover everything along the way. During your visit, you will also gain a clear impression of the devastating effects of a ‘shaped-charge’ explosion.

The moving film The Story of the Fort gives you a clear 15-minute overview of the attack on the fort and on Belgium on 10 May 1940.

You end your visit with the unique 180° immersive experience ‘Granit’s Attack at Dawn’, which places you right in the middle of the action during the attack on the fort.

Booking is not required, but if you reserve your admission ticket in advance, we will make sure an audioguide is ready for you.

For only €3 extra per person, you can join a guide for a 2-hour English guided tour (only in the weekends). More information.
