Discovery Tour Interior - 03:00u

Afterwards, free access to the barracks and the museum + the 180° immersive experience.

  • A guided tour for visitors who have already taken a tour of the fort.
  • Once a month, on a Saturday, we organise an in-depth programme for enthusiasts. Each edition focuses on a different theme, with the programme repeating every three months.
  • The discovery tour concludes with the start-up of the nearly century-old Carels generator, the mechanical heart of the fort. This impressive 175 hp engine was installed in the late 1930s to provide the fort with essential electrical power. After the Second World War, it fell silent—today, it is running once again.
  • The “Specialists” tour lasts 3 hours, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Afterwards, subject to prior reservation, you may join the **Exterior Discovery Tour** or explore the barracks, museum, and immersive 180° experience at your own pace.
  • Your ticket remains valid for the entire day.
