Individual visit including a 2h guided tour in English
A combination ticket for a 2h guided tour, plus time to explore on your own
- This type of visit, including a guided English language tour, can be booked on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month
- The guided tour takes approximately 2h. In addition, you can spend as much time as you wish exploring the fort.
- Please arrive 15 minutes before the start of your chosen tour.
- Pre-booking is not mandatory, but strongly recommended. The number of places on the guided tours is limited.
The underground barracks and museum area are fully wheelchair accessible.
The part of the underground galleries visited with these tours is possible, but there are slopes, so helper support is required.
Visiting an artillery casemate, a gun turret or the superstructure of the fort is unfortunately not possible for wheelchair users and is not suitable for visitors with limited mobility or suffering from pre-existing heart conditions or recent surgery.
The underground barracks and museum are heated. In the corridor system and bunkers, there is a constant temperature of 11°C. Warm clothing is strongly recommended. We also recommend closed footwear.

Children under the age of 12 should not be added to your booking.

What to expect on your 2h guided tour
- the impressive staircase and lift leading to the middle floor of the fort
- the vast gallery system connecting the gun emplacements
- the air filtration rooms en ventilation system protecting the fort against a gas attack
- the underground command post from where the guns and bunkers were directed
- the Vise 1 or Vise 2 artillery casemate, including the gun emplacements
- the damage caused by the explosion of a heavy shaped charge in the Mastricht 1 artillery casemate
- the guided tour will take approximately 2h; in addition you can spend as much time as you wish in the underground barracks and museum area

No prepayment needed. Payment is taken at the ticket office upon arrival.
To enjoy the reduced rate, you must present your identity card, military ID card, student ID card, teacher's card, membership card, membership card of a partner organisation, discount voucher or other voucher at the ticket office before payment.
